The 2009 Kawasaki Z1000 represented a significant update from the previous model while retaining its distinct and recognizable design. Although the styling changes may appear modest by today's standards, it's important to note that in 2007, these changes were quite remarkable. At that time, Japanese motorcycle manufacturers had not yet incorporated as many intricate styling details into their naked bikes, and the Z1000 stood out as a unique offering in this regard. The Z1000's heritage can be traced back to the Kawasaki Z1 900, which was originally released in the early 1970s. The Z1 900 was designed to compete with the immensely popular Honda CB750. Despite being the most powerful road bike of its era, the Z1 was known for its pliability, forgiveness, and comfort. These qualities set it apart, especially when compared to the two-stroke triples that Kawasaki had produced before the Z1. What a stunning example boasting 5 service service stamps, 3 keys, Vance and Hines Exhaust, Tail tidy, After market levers and Kawasaki themed crash bungs. || At Superbike Specialists, we offer a top selection of HPI-clear used motorcycles (unless stated). Our bikes are mechanically prepared by passionate onsite mechanics, with a focus on exceptional customer service. Every bike includes a 30-day warranty, with options to extend to 6 or 12 months, a minimum of 6 months MOT, and a fresh service. UK mainland delivery starts at £50. Competitive finance and card payments are accepted. We are also an authorised Scorpion Datatool dealer, offering fully fitted S5 Thatcham-approved trackers from £299. ||
